The story behind it.
A rider opens a taxi app with one question: how long until the car arrives. Taxopark's passenger app answers it on a live map, with Yandex Maps showing the car and the pickup point at the same time, so driver and passenger can see each other before the trip begins.
Ordering takes a few taps: pickup point, destination, confirm. The same build runs on iOS and Android from one Cordova codebase, and the layout adapts from a small phone to a tablet without losing the order button. Riders can top up an account with a bank card in the app or at a street payment terminal, which matters for anyone who keeps no card on file.
Under the interface sits a system tuned for rush hour. The order flow and map updates were built to stay responsive when a whole city calls at once, and the passenger app shares its dispatch backbone with the driver app and the Taxopark website.
