The story behind it.
A construction crew's paperwork lives in the van, the site office, and someone's inbox. Ridgeline Construction wanted it in one place. We built a tablet and phone app for the field and a web panel for the office, both on one API.
On site, a worker opens the app to today's active jobs and starts a timer against the hours spent on each. Health and Safety reports are written in the app with photos and documents attached, and the same list holds tasks, push notifications, and the user profile.
In the office, administrators and managers manage users, approve or edit reports, and review everything uploaded from site. A projects and tasks section keeps jobs moving, reports export to PDF, and Google Maps plots where each crew member is working.
The stack was a PHP 7 REST API, an Angular 7 admin front end, and Ionic 5 for the hybrid app. Both store builds went through review and shipped to the App Store and Google Play.
