Delfin Hotel — Seaside Web Presence

Delfin sits behind a two-mile strip of pale sand on the Black Sea, a few steps from the water. The site has to carry that beach into a browser in the middle of winter, so the design leads with color and light rather than a wall of text about amenities.

The structure stays plain: rooms and rates in one section, the hotel grounds and services in another, with the booking path never more than a click away. A virtual 3D tour covers the territory and the beach, which lets a guest see the distance from the room door to the sand before deciding — usually the question that settles a beach booking.

Bootstrap and jQuery carry the front end, with HTML5 and CSS3 doing the layout work, and the pages reflow cleanly from a desktop down to a phone, where most summer traffic arrives. The palette stays warm and the type stays generous, in keeping with a hotel that sells sun.
