The story behind it.
Renovation work is judged on the finish, but it is managed through the record: what was done, when, and by whom. Brick & Beam needed that record to leave the notebook. We designed an app for crews and a panel for the office that share one source of truth.
A worker opens the app to past reports, starts a new one on site, and pulls up the documents and tasks attached to the job. Push notifications flag new assignments, and the profile keeps each crew member's history in one place.
Managers use the web panel to manage users and approve or edit reports as they come in, with uploaded documents a tap away. Google Maps shows both where employees are and where each report was created, so a claim can be matched to a place.
The project ran on a PHP 7 REST API, an Angular 7 admin front end, and Ionic 5 for the app. iOS and Android builds were published to both stores.
