The story behind it.
A construction site runs on the day's list: what is open, who is on it, and what has to be signed off before the next trade arrives. Ridgeline Construction asked for an app that would put that list in the hands of the people doing the work.
Site staff get a daily task list and a view of every active project, with a direct route into health and safety inspections. Supervisors in the site office and inspectors walking the floors use the same screens, so there is one version of events rather than two paper trails that have to be reconciled later. The screen set stays consistent from the first task to the final report, so nobody has to relearn the app between steps.
The design covers the full cycle of creating and managing tasks and reports, drawn for phones and tablets. Because the record is made on site, nobody has to reconstruct the day from memory at five o'clock.
