The story behind it.
New Zealand is a country of long drives and changing weather, and the app is built for travelers who want to plan a route without losing the day to it. Wayfare brings route selection, map search, and practical information into one place for tourists on tablets and phones.
Routes can be filtered by parameters and location on a Google map, and the detail page is designed to hold everything about a chosen route in a single scan. General information about services and the app sits alongside, so questions about how things work do not pull travelers out of the flow.
Behind the app, an admin panel lets the operator manage listings and send push notifications when conditions or services change. The notification feed and user profile round out the account side, and both were designed at phone and tablet sizes because the app is used at the planning desk and on the road.
