Kauri Modular — Maintenance App for Prefab Homes
An employee app and admin panel that keep modular home installs, callbacks and warranty visits on one schedule instead of five spreadsheets.

2020
The story behind it.
Modular homes arrive on site finished, but servicing them after handover is a scheduling problem. Kauri Modular's field crews were tracking installs, callbacks and warranty visits across spreadsheets and group chats, and a job could go quiet for a week before anyone noticed. One app now holds the whole picture.
Built for crews, not desks. The employee app opens on active tasks and projects, with the site list, customer requests and quality-control reports a tap away. A technician can file a report from the driveway, see who else is assigned, and check what is waiting on a part. Push notifications keep urgent callbacks from sitting unseen, and the profile screen collects certifications and assigned sites.
The admin panel mirrors the same structure, so managers can reassign work and review reports without rebuilding the week by hand. Layouts were drawn for tablets first, then compressed for phones that get read outdoors with gloves on. The full set of states for both surfaces was handed over in 2020.
