Southern Lights — Festival Companion App
For a weekend in a field, the app carries the lineup, the site map and the services attendees need, with notifications for schedule changes.

The story behind it.
Festival apps usually fail at the worst possible moment: on site, one bar of signal, a crowd in the way. Southern Lights needed an app that answers the questions people actually ask at a festival — who is playing, where, and how to get from the gate to the stage — without asking much of the connection.
We designed the full attendee experience for people planning a visit and for the weekend itself. Lineup and schedule views put the day's program on one screen, and the site section covers what a first-timer needs: stages, food, water and the services that keep a weekend outdoors workable. Notifications carry schedule changes and the announcements organizers need to push.
The visual side leans on the festival's own outdoor setting — high-contrast type that survives sunlight and a tight palette that keeps the lineup legible at arm's length.
