The story behind it.
Students shopping for a course ask the same questions in the same order: what is it, who teaches it, and when can I start. The app we designed for an online learning provider answers those three on one screen and then gets out of the way. Courses and trainings are grouped by category, with search that works across the whole catalog.
Each course and each teacher has a detail page, and instructors are shown on a Google map so students can see who is nearby or teaching in their region. The schedule is a calendar rather than a list, and creating a booking takes a few taps from any course page. Reminders arrive as push notifications instead of email that gets buried.
A short section on online education explains how classes work, which matters for first-time students. The profile collects bookings and past courses, and the admin panel gives the provider control over the catalog and the calendar. The screen set was designed for both tablet and smartphone.
