The story behind it.
A walk-in barbershop lives on regulars, and regulars want the same barber at the same time. Kingsland Barbers needed a booking layer that fit how the shop actually runs, plus an identity that would hold up on a phone screen and on the door.
The app opens on the service list — cuts, shaves and the add-ons that make up most tickets — and moves straight into a reservation. Customers choose a service and a time without creating an account first. A map shows the nearest shop and the distance to it, which matters when the closest chair is not the one you usually use.
Branding ran alongside the product work: a wordmark, a small mark and a palette that holds up both on screen and in the shop. The same marks carry into the app icon and the booking flow, so the experience starts before the customer walks in.
